Concept: ParametersCustomising workflow behaviour

A workflow definition defines a set of parameters. These parameters have to be assigned values when a workflow is started, ie a workflow instance is created. These parameters can be used to customise the behaviour of a workflow instance. For example, the user who is to perform a task can be taken from the parameters or the text of a mail can be taken from a parameter. Parameters are set at the start of a workflow and can not be changed during the execution of the workflow. |
