It is also possible to import a workflow in to an existing workflow definition. This is useful if a workflow designer is working on a development system and wants to deploy a new version of an existing workflow.

He can simply export a workflow definition from the development system. Then in the live system he brings up the workflow editing view on the workflow definition that he has improved.
Then selecting "Import" from the "File" menu, he can select his exported workflow and introduce it in to the existing definition.
Finally he saves the workflow from the editing view.
