Add relationships to the users to define the line management tree - (page 3 of 6)

Level: intermediate
Required reading: Simple workflow
Recommended reading: Managing staff, Managing relationships

Now that we have created our users we add in a set of relationships to define that Ann manages Bob, and Bob manages Carol. From the Windows studio select "Edit relationships" from the "Users" menu.

In this dialog select "Add new" to bring up the "Add new relationship" dialog. Now select "User A" as Ann, "User B" as Bob, and "Relationship type" as "Line management". Clicking OK adds the relationship that Ann manages Bob.

Repeat this operation for Bob managing Carol.

Here are detailed instructions for managing relationships.
