Define the behaviour of the notification mail - (page 6 of 9)

Level: basic
Recommended reading: Defining content

In this step we will change the properties of the mail actions so that they notify either yes or no, to the user who requested the holiday.

Double click on the "mail" activity at the top of the workflow. In the "Edit properties" dialog, right click on the "To" field and select "Owner". This sends the mail to the owner of the workflow.

Then set the subject of the mail to be "Holiday request granted" and the body to be "Your holiday request has been granted. Holiday requested was {$FormatDate(fromDate, "dd-MM-yyyy")} and {$FormatDate(toDate, "dd-MM-yyyy")}".
Do the same for the bottom "mail" activity (representing no), select suitable messages in the bottom box.
