Action: Question

Action to ask the user a question

Path: Root\Workflow\Tasks

Allows the user to be asked a question based on the current state of the case, the workflow is branched based on the answer. The number and text of the answers can be specified, and each of these answers specifies a transition which can be routed in the workflow editor.
Any answer can be specified as requiring a comment to be specified.
All questions are mailed to the appropriate user (no mail is sent when they are assigned to a group. This mail allows the user to either view the entire task, or answer the question directly but clicking on a link.

Common uses

Approve/signoff	Ask a user/group to explicitly approve the current state of the case
Escalate	Ask a user a question and branch to an escalation path based on the response

Properties

Question	Specifies the text of the question, this is displayed in the task list. This field is specified in the scripting language which allows information from the case to be extracted and displayed.
Description	Specifies the description of the question. This field is specified in the scripting language which allows information from the case to be extracted and displayed.
Answers	Specifies the text of each possible answer to the question. Can also specify whether a comment is required by the user giving the answer.
